January News

We would like to wish you all a very happy & healthy New Year! We also thank all of the families who contributed to the Teachers Christmas Fund, this is very much appreciated by all staff. 

This month we will begin by celebrating Three Kings Day on 1/26, learning about this holiday and completing a worksheet. We will also begin some new assessments to add to students files, checking progress in areas that needed improvment and new areas we have learned. We also plan on learning about polar animals and will be completing a social science unit on maping along with a math unit on measurement. There will also be a strong focus on alphabet recognition/sounds as well as learning sight words for the advanced learners.

1/16 No school, Martin Luther King Day

1/30-2/3 Catholic Schools Week (more info to follow) with Family night on 2/2.
